Laurean became a Certified Director with the Institute of Directors Tanzania and preceding that has a Master of Public Management, Bachelor of Laws (LLB), and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Relations and Public Administration.

He also took up several short courses and attended workshops from the Institute of Directors, and the Institute of Public Accountability, ranging on Gender issues, Procurement matters, Finance, Intercultural communication and Interaction, Humanitarian Diplomacy, Proposal Development, Partnership management & Collaborative Negotiation skills.

Through the years, Mr. Laurean has a well-polished track in precise and analytical report writing, highly commendable presentation skills as well as proper project planning. Furthermore, He has a high-level capacity to conceptualize, design, articulate, and implement strategic initiatives, developing trusting partnerships at all levels of government, NGOs, and Private sectors. He has been able to catalyze culture shifts that positively impact the way of life and attitudes of communities.
