A green Growth Investment Framework For SAGCOT [ SAGCOT Green Print ]
This is the model of Green Growth of Agriculture. The map identified the important issues of climate change, environmental conservation, and natural resource management as important factors in the long-term plan of the Belt on economic development, although it does not provide detailed plans on how to deal with the issues mentioned above. The intention of the Investment Model on Green Growth is to improve SAGCOT’s strategy to ensure that development in the Corridor is sustainable for the environment, brings equal social rights, and can bring economic benefits. More specifically, the Green Map has set a strategy for the implementation of “Green Growth of Agriculture” to continue to strengthen agriculture for small farmers and commercial farmers, while at the same time together they conserve natural resources that are the basis for supporting agriculture and reducing pressure on forests, water resources and biodiversity.
