Mr Laay joins us with proven and excellent performance from the SAGCOT Audit Committee, of which he has been a very active member. His experience in investment appraisal on Tea, Coffee, Dairy and Cotton with various donors brings an added value. His broad and life long experience ranges from: the Agricultural Bank of China, to respective projects funded by ODA & DANIDA with the Ministry of Agriculture, Cooperatives and Livestock Development as the lead officer responsible for the preparation of Statement of Affairs and Assessment of Viability for Tabora and Shinyanga Regions Cooperative Unions in the West Cotton Growing Area (namely known as WCGA under DANIDA). Currently, Mr Laay is a Board Member of the following : CRDB Bank Plc, where he is the Chairman, Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB), and National Housing Corporation (NHC). Mr. Laay holds an MBA from Cardiff Business School, University of Wales (UK), Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy (PGDA (IFM) and Advanced Diploma in Accountancy (ADA IFM), Fellow Certified Public Accountant FCPA (T).
